Lowcountry Halloween Fest
Looking for something a little scary and more family-friendly? If so, bring the whole clan down to the 3rd Annual Lowcountry Halloween Fest at the Citadel Mall. This is one of the best Halloween events in Charleston for families and offers a ton of different activities and attractions. There will be safe, socially distanced trick-or-treating available along with bounce houses, balloon animals, face painting, crafts, and more. And the best part is this event is free, so don’t miss out!

Riverbanks Boo at the Zoo
Put on your cutest costume and head over to Riverbanks Zoo and Garden for the annual Halloween spook-tacular, Boo at the Zoo. The family-friendly Halloween event runs from 5 to 9pm each evening. Children 12 and under are invited to wear costumes for a spook-fest complete with a Haunted Carousel, Mummy’s Eeky Freaky DJ dance party, and trick-or-treating throughout the zoo!
