Is your kitchen in need of some organizing and you’re not sure where to start? You’re in the right place! We’ve scoured the web for the best kitchen organization hacks, and we believe we’ve found them. They come from Kathryn “Doitonadime’s” YouTube video: “10 Best Kitchen Organization Hacks.” Not only will these hacks whip your kitchen back into shape in no time, but they’re also very easy on the budget.
Here are some of our favorite ideas from Kathryn’s video:
- Dollar store bins for cans
If you’re tight on space, or just have a lot of the same product (like soup/vegetable cans), this tip is perfect for you. Take a trip to your local dollar store and invest in some stacking bins to store your products. You’ll be amazed how much space it frees up in your pantry.
- Storage bins become drawers
For the second hack, Kathryn demonstrates how she cleverly turned storage bins into drawers. Take the lids off the bins, put in your snacks, and slide the bin into the cabinet. Voilà!
- Use vertical space
If you’ve got vertical space available in your drawers, why not take advantage of it? This spice rack is perfect for doing just that.
- Cutting rack hack
This cutting board rack is more versatile than you may think. It’s ideal for utilizing your cabinet space, as it can easily store tin foil or even pot/pan lids.
- Extend your “Lazy Susan”
“Lazy Susans” are quite helpful when it comes it getting organized, but the problem is that the larger ones can also be quite expensive. This hack is a great alternative. Kathryn suggests finding old cheese platters at thrift stores and placing them on a smaller “Lazy Susan”.
